You can watch a small world evolve right in front of your face. This Ecosphere Aquarium is a mini-world with many things inside. Inside the items are microbes, algae, gravel, seawater and red shrimp. You can buy them in round or oval.
Everything in the Ecosphere Aquarium serves a purpose. The purpose for the seawater is to keep the shrimp alive. Oxygen is needed under water for the shrimp to stay alive so the algae give oxygen. Algae has to be fed also, this is what the microbes do. All of the shells and gorgonia are to make hiding spaces for shyness or sleep.
The Ecosphere Aquarium globes can have a life cycle up to ten years but the average is only two to three. These aquatic habitat will continue to evolve if it has some sunlight but will die off if is in direct sunlight. This Ecosphere Aquarium globe is just like the earth acting as a team to survive.
